Good work.
Instead of using ‘…’ (such as in this sentence: when I got home that night there was not a nice surprise waiting for meā¦the teacher had rung my parents), you can use the semi-colon.
The rest of the piece needs to be punctuated properly, please. That means using commas and full stops where it’s needed. There are also a few capital letters missing throughout the piece.
